Interdisciplinary
Integrated Units of Study:
The units of study for students are planned with current topics in mind and for the children’s developmental stages of learning. The topics cover the areas of: Humanities – history, geography, economics; Science; Technology; and supported by ways of thinking and behaving – using the Thinking Curriculum and Interpersonal and Intrapersonal curriculums. The Thinking Curriculum supports each child’s learning through understanding how they learn, think and use of strategies. The Interpersonal curriculum addresses how students work together in teams and their interactions with others. Intrapersonal curriculum concentrates on what students think about themselves and building resilient skills.
