Carrum Downs PS provides a variety of ways for parents and community to access information about our school and the educational opportunities for students at different learning levels.
Carrum Downs PS has been educating students for the last 100 years and continues to grow with our changing community. Our Mission is to provide quality teaching and learning programs to all students where our friendly learning environment and well resourced school supports each child to reach their potential.
We aim to provide each student with the skills, knowledge, positive attitudes and confidence to enable them to successfully participate in the global community. Students are encouraged to value learning, creativity, celebrate their achievements and develop persistence, resilience and optimism in their lives.
We value the assistance of our parents, who in partnership with our well qualified teachers, assist in providing quality learning that maximises student achievement. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s learning and also in wider school activities including social and fundraising events.
